Ella & Will

Papplewick pumping station is an absolute steampunk wonderland an d its alternative vibes suited Ella & Will down to the ground. This was always going to be one of those unique weddings – from Ella’s colourful wedding dress and veil, the unique industrial venue,  Luna Tunes spinning heavy, soft, forgotten gems and keeping the dancefloor crazy. It was a great alternative and diverse crowd – with even the DJ booked from a set she performed at Download festival.

It was a beautiful day for a Tipi wedding and an added bonus to capture everyone getting ready in the morning. Will and Ella both apologised for the morning chaos but I really thrive in the chaos (seriously, these will be the portfolio pictures for me!)

It was also my first outing for the Leica M6 and I’m in love with this camera… it’s as simple, small and quiet as a camera can be. I’ve mixed the film scans in amongst the digital photos. I’m sure you’ll be able to spot them.
