A wedding at Pickford’s House Museum
Hannah and Ben married at a Pickford’s House museum wedding in Derby city centre. At this time Covid was in full swing, but I think we had a little reprieve for small weddings. So this was an intimate celebration in a Georgian townhouse that used to be the home of Joseph Pickford – who was an enlightenment architect. Hannah got ready with her mum and friends at the Leonardo Hotel (it was called the Jury’s Inn at the time)
It was a lovely, chilled garden party vibe throughout the day. The ceremony room is stunning (as you can see from the picture above) and museum guides dressed up in Georgian clothing and gave us a guide of the house.
