Bamford Edge, Derbyshire Proposal Photography.
(Spoiler – Sasha said Yes.)
I was recently lucky enough to go up to Bamford Edge in the Peak District to photograph Jack proposing to Sasha. Like the previous Peak District proposal shoot at Curbar Edge I arrived beforehand and pretended to be taking some landscape photography when Jack sidled up to me and asked if I could take a quick portrait on his phone. (I do think Jack’s phone may have been bigger than my little camera…)
This involves a lot of driving and hiking for what is only a few minutes of photography – but those few minutes are so worth it because they’re so packed with emotions.
I always advise doing these shoots somewhere around sunset, with my fingers crossed it won’t be too grey (although I do love the soft light and skin tones of cloudy England countryside). Let me know if you’d like your proposal capturing in this way.
