Your wedding isn’t a photo shoot. It’s a story. Let’s tell it honestly.
Why Documentary?
Most people feel a bit awkward in front of a lens. My approach is designed to take that pressure off. I don’t want to spend your wedding day acting like a film director or a drill sergeant.
By choosing a documentary style, you get to actually experience your wedding rather than performing for it. I’m there to catch the quiet glances, the loud laughs, and the small, unscripted moments that a “shot list” would never find.
No Scripts, No Presets, No Pretense
Every couple is a new story. I don’t walk into your day with a “standard” way of doing things. Whether you’re planning a quiet elopement, a backyard DIY celebration, or a massive party that breaks every tradition in the book—I’m there to reflect your energy.
I’m a fan of the “perfectly imperfect.” If your hair gets messy from dancing or your tie is a bit crooked because you were laughing too hard, that’s what I want to photograph. That’s the real stuff.
Safe, Seen, and Celebrated
For my LGBTQ+ couples, I know that wedding photography hasn’t always been an inclusive space. My goal is to create a space where you feel completely safe to be yourselves.
I don’t care about “traditional” gender roles or who “should” be standing where. I care about how you look at each other. I’m here to celebrate your love exactly as it is—without the heteronormative “rules” that often clutter the wedding industry.
