Couple Portraits

The Art of Being Yourself

What matters most to me is that your portraits actually look like you  – weird, wonderful, and entirely your own.

I’m not interested in stiff James Bond poses or Disney princess perfection. I want to take you off for some quiet time on your wedding day and just let you spend some time together.

Sometimes I’ll hang back. Sometimes we’ll figure it out together. But the only thing you need to bring is yourself.

The smartest thing Socrates ever said was that he didn’t know anything. I’m not claiming to be Socrates, but I’ll admit I don’t always know exactly what we’ll get. That not-knowing is the point and it’s what keeps the photos honest and unique.
